Thanksgiving dinner

I started weeks before the actual day so Thanksgiving Day was quite enjoyable.  The menu was:

appetizers-

artisan cheeses, nitrate-free salami and crackers

homemade herbed olives

Jentzen’s crab stuffed mushrooms with Coastal cheese

brie en croute with orange-cranberry sauce

dinner-

herb soft rolls

garlic buttermilk mashed potatoes

roasted yams

chorizo cornbread stuffing

wild mushroom stuffing

brined herbed turkey

orange-cranberry sauce

dessert-

pumpkin cheesecake with Frangelico and gingersnap crust (I ended up making my own gingersnaps, as I refused to pay $5 for low quality processed ones. Good call!)
