This week in the school garden

Our seedlings are starting to peek out of the dirt this week!  But they are not alone.  The weeds have made their grand debut as well.  We were busy pulling out the bad guys, while trying to keep our new seedlings intact.

The kids also noticed the appearance of some bugs we have yet to see this year: ladybugs!  We think the cooler temperatures help. The bees were busy collecting pollen from the rosemary flowers, and we stopped and watch them work, making sure not to disrupt them.
