OpenDaily’s Healthy Eating Tip#2

Every Thursday our friends at OpenDaily are publishing a healthy eating tip written by yours truly.  This week I focused on implementing more greens into your diet.

Tip number two: Eat more leafy greens.  I know, you’ve heard it before but for good reason.  Eating greens, like kale, chard, collards, and napa cabbage, provide sustained energy, good digestion, and pretty skin.   They are inexpensive and full of carotenoids, flavonoids, Vitamins C, A, K, and folic acid.  Try adding some greens into your day.  Saute up some chopped greens with an onion, and top with a splash of balsamic vinegar. Braise some greens with a bit of broth.  Or try adding greens into your veggie soup. Get creative!  You’ll be glowing before you know it!
