Cooking squash with kids

This month’s “Harvest of the Month” produce item was squash.  Big ones, little ones, round ones and long ones.

I cut them up and the kids helped me season them with salt, pepper, olive oil, and fresh squeezed orange juice.



After roasting in the oven for around 30 minutes, the squash was ready to be sampled.  And the kids loved it, gobbling up every last piece.  YUM!
